hiya guys, sorry for my first post being a cry for help!!! installing exchange 2k7 standard for the first time and am currently trying to create a storage group on my D: partition (non system root). I have already populated AD with users and thus just need to assign mbx's. upon using either the management console or the shell i get the following error... "the parent object for ***** could nto be found. Please check that information store exists. followed by the command that it tried to execute. i have manually created a location on my D:\ for the storage group to sit in so what could be my problem? thanks in advance guys. jesper...due to the time frame involved, it was simpler to install Exchange 2k3... which as you prob know, just works....kinda abandoned 2k7 at the mo. saying that, i still had deployment issues with 2k3 which were related to DNS.given more time, i would of cracked it...hope you have more joy mate...
